During a commanding display, England clinched one more win against their opponents, with several squad members turning in standout displays on the pitch.

Starting Lineup

The goalkeeper Not a save required in the first half until called into action from Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. One well-timed sliding intervention against an Albanian attacker demonstrated sharp game intelligence. 6/10

John Stones Moved up the pitch when in possession, a familiar role before. Sometimes seemed hesitant in possession with the approach discontinued at half-time. Six

Dan Burn A constant threat from dead balls, typically, perhaps is another option to his teammate in the backline instead of alongside him. A careless pass later in the match nearly resulted in the first goal for Albania. Six

Nico O’Reilly A further composed showing from the youngster following his first cap against Serbia. Saka did not capitalize on the most of an exquisite flick behind the opposing backline. The role is his to lose at this stage. 7/10

The newcomer His first start in an England shirt. A bit loose in possession though his dangerous set-pieces were a threat. An effective game manager for the manager to call upon versus sides that sit back. Cautioned for a poorly timed tackle. Six

The midfielder Crosses on corner kicks and set-plays created chances. Had license to roam on the left yet found himself in an offside position when the ball arrived in shooting positions. Awarded a well-earned rest around the 60-minute point. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward spot down the right and did plenty of the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality and scuffed an effort wide. Replaced late on by a teammate, a fellow player, following a yellow card. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike smartly stopped from the opposing goalkeeper. As a teammate hanging back, he was forced to stretch the play on the right yet his deliveries from the touchline varied in quality. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker with his two more goals in an England shirt. The first a trademark close-range tap-in and the second a superb finish with his head following a clever run away from the opposition. Aged 32, he continues to improve with the national team stand a real opportunity in future competitions when he's in the team. 8

The attacker Struggled to influence play from the left. Had a good opening after being played in by the midfielder yet Strakosha made the save. His replacement made much more of effect in his place. Five
